The Goa Electoral Rolls are "UNCLEAN! "I was shocked at the little information I could get under RTI, regarding HOW and WHY my name was removed from the Rolls inspite of holding an Epic card, and being a resident and present at site ,well know resident,at least in my area. My name is still to date not on the Rolls inspite of filling Form 6 Twice! By the way Form six is "For inclusion of name for the FIRST TIME and also for a person already enrolled in a Constituency FOR INCLUSION OF NAME IN ANOTHER CONSTITUENCY".The mason who worked for me proudly shows me his Epic and Goa Ration card,.He and his family vote here and also in his village in UP! I pray we do not have a Nandigram here because the State and the Agencies that are supposed to implement the Law are blatently doing "business as usual". The majority of goans are waking up..................... and yawning.
I had posted a note on this subject a long time back,but I have not seen it
on Goanet. Anyway, IT MUST BE SAID that Rajan Parrikar, although very harsh,
is holding up a mirror.
