Goa Liberation Day --- lets share some views!
Hello Goankars...soon its gonna be Dec 19 Goa's 'unfortunate' liberation
day...i agree many will raise a brow when i write unfortunate...but if we look
at a Goa then and a Goa now! i guess Goa was best then as compared to its
dismal state now.
As a run up to the Liberation day...i would like many Goanetters specially like
Valmiki Faleiro...the living genius on such topics to write some posts on the
way they remember the Liberation day...what happened on that day? how was the
mood of Goans? who were the real freedom fighters? were they RSS despots(as
projected on Porrikars V-CD) or actual Goans?
How did people react to the bombings of the AIR and the borim bridge?
I also would want peoples views on Liberation and how they feel now...also on
the latest round of agitations planned on dec 19 2007 around Goa...
await a lot of posts on this topic rather than wasting time on climbing the
B-Ladder!
