Following is the result of the Literary Konkani writing contest 2007
organized by Fr. Freddy J. da Costa Memorial Trust, Margao:-
GROUP A: First Prize :
"Mhozo Ganv Asaganv"
Delivia E. D'Souza, Assagao. Std. VII, Assagao Union H. School. Script
: Devnagari.
Group B: First Prize :
"Monisponn"
Judy Anna D'Souza, Bicholim. Std. XI, Shri Shantadurga Higher Secondary
School. Script: Devnagari
Group C : First Prize :
"Maim Tuka Salam'". Socorro Rebello, Rachol Seminary. Script: Roman.
Second Prize : "Tujem Khoim Pavlam?" Selza Lopes, Candolim. Script:
Roman.
Agnel Fernandes (Borim), Teotonio D'Costa, Vincy Quadros judged the
entries. The winners will be awarded at the Silver Jubilee function of Gulab
to be held on 3rd. January 2008 at 3.30 p.m. at Maharaja Hall, Goa
Woodlands hotel, Margao. The entries which merited the first prize will be
published in the 2007 issue of the 'Goencho Avaz' to be released shortly.
