Disregarding for a moment the corny idea that Dabolim's 'happiness' depends
on your presence or absence, let us consider the obverse which I was
actually interested in. What you may be hinting at is that happiness at
Dabolim is an inverse function of the time factor.When one lands at Dabolim
there is just the hop to the baggage conveyor, the skip to the exit and a
quick jump into a waiting vehicle and you are blissfully on your way to home
sweet home. Never mind the circling for 30-40 minutes till a vacant spot
opened up in the limited apron space for aircraft before landing and the
hold up near the Navy's hangars until some military planes cleared the
runway after taking off in formation due to the lack of a taxiway. Also
forget the traffic jams at Agassaim and/or Goa Velha which have become
regular occurrences of late.
When one is leaving Goa, there is the early lunch to catch an afternoon
flight, the x-ray screening queue to contend with, the airline check in
queue to negotiate, the boring wait in the lounge especially when the
incoming flight is delayed etc etc.
Anyway, thanks for the reply and happy landings always and thumbs up on all
flights, George.
