Let me take the message as it appeared on Goa Net and give my views against each Para of the said message.
Your first Para: The GMAS does not scare me ...it is mostly a bunch of losers. The GMAS leaders lack credibility..And, more importantly, followers. Without the BJP, I doubt Matanhy & Associates could muster a hundred persons for a public meeting. My views: I think no Goans should be scared of GMAS or any other movement in connection with SEZ for it's truly a Goan movement, unless you are non Goan, of which I don't know anything Your second Para: Even Manohar is the losing CM, not a winning MLA that he could well claim to be before the GDA fiasco. He showed that even the Dhavlikars would do ... leave alone the Babush who helped him win the Panaji seat again! He was a capable man. that seems to be history. Now, even the BJP leadership has rebuked him by NOT standing by his assurance to agitate if Matanhy was arrested before 01 January, 2008, for the statement that was perhaps drafted by him. Ani anink zai? My views: Panaji dwellers are acclaimed to be educated masses and therefore with all differences they have witn Manohar they have very rightly chosen their leader in Manohar Parrikar who represents educated masses not only for Panaji Dwellers but to the rest of Goa. They have rightly not chosen Dinnar?? Same way as Churchill, who is the leader of uneducated masses, is rightly elected by Navelim dwellers. (This version of mine was published in Navhind Times immediately after the election results) Your third Para: I stand sentinel against the machinations of the current YFG leadership ... a bunch of liars and hypocrites that makes public claims to have invited the GBA and SVM leaders to its meetings, but invites them not. This time round, the SVM has even rejected the YFG "invitation via print media" for a debate on a topic that has been decided: SEZ. My views: You appear to be somewhat uncomfortable with most NGOs and most movements!! I don't know why? Is it because you are not given right recognition by these organizations / movements!! If this be the case pleas float one organization and you be the leader and lets see how many Goans attend your meeting.if no one attends I will attend the meeting to hear what you have to say about Goa, your views against politicians, apolitical and political movements, and also your views against religious interference in politics...and much more what ever you can express.I will listen to you, no matter who is present. You're fourth Para: The YFG meetings are nothing but an attempt to bring the Apolitical on the same platform as the Political ...by hook or by crook, mostly the latter. The students are still at the gullible age. The members of GBA, SVM, KNS, PMAS and other groups are too old ...and experienced ...... for that. My Views: as expressed under third above. Your fifth Para: If you are free, come hear what Ritu Prasad, Soter D'Souza and Fr.Maverick have to say about heir vision for Goa 2020 this afternoon at the Kala Academy's Black Box. Goa Sudharop has chosen this Extremist as the Moderator for the discussion. ;-)) My views: Thank god at least some intellectual brains could think of holding such meetings/discussions in BLACK BOX. I just cannot imagine what would have happened if it was organized in day light in public places!!!! Any way Black is always beautiful and ..??????????
