So let's stop fighting ourselves by exchanging unbearable, intolerable
words. We don't even know the factual part of the game so what are we up to?
One should realize that actual culprit(s) are enjoying and watching the BIG
FIGHTS by seating on fence without a word as if they are perfect
representatives of Three Monkeys.

According to me only the battle has been won. The war is still on and yet to be
won. So accolades from whichever quarters are premature. The real estate lobby
is very powerful and loaded with funds. They will try whichever means to attain
their objective. If pay-offs to politicians will not work due to lack of public
support, they will try and corrupt or create divisions among the various bodies
agitating against SEZ's. I forsee a long haul ahead. The stakes are very high
and many of the events are pioneered and controlled from Delhi in which Goa has
little say. All that Goans can do is-

1. stay united whatever the provocations.
2. be alert at all times and report any construction activity immediately to
the various bodies like SVM or GMAS
3. use the RTI to good effect
4.seek the intervention of courts wherever possible
5. build a good legal team. They will be required in large measures in the near
future.
6.continue spreading awareness about the ills of SEZ's and other real estate
activities among the general public.
7.discourage the goans from falling to temptation and selling out to the
Delhiwallahs
8.present a signed petition signed by the people protesting against the setting
up of SEZ's to the PM and Congress President. Even expatriate- goans can sign
and do their little bit.
9.do not make the fight against SEZ's a fight aginst the Congress but against
bad policies by the party in power. There are other parties lurking behind
waiting to take advantage.
10. demand a white paper on the entire affair, call for CBI investigations and
expose those who are responsible for this mess.
11. and lastly, be prepared for instability in the government as those who have
been paid off will be under threat to deliver the goodies.

You can be sure that sooner or later another land scam will emerge or be
surreptiously slipped through unwary citizens.
