Dear Dr. Barad, While I feel that the religious discussion taking place on GoaNet by Fr. Ivo, Marshall and Nigel is a healthy way to share the underpinnings of their ideologies, I have persistently berated the moderators for allowing blatant evangelizing by Mr. Botelho to this secular forum to no avail.
Rajan has stimulated us to react using his lens and keyboard, for the betterment of our motherland. We cannot halt free movement across our borders but we need to show immigrants to our land that they need to change their ways and hygiene if they wish to stay on and avail of the economic advantages. This requires some investment in infrastructure and laws instituted and upheld that are in alignment with our civic sense. We cannot throw up our hands in despair and pass the buck. Maybe the employers who benefit from the cheaper foreign labour should be responsible for housing and education of their employees. Others have done it before, we are not facing a unique situation but we do need to tap into the collective wisdom, much of which does not monitor GoaNet, to come up with solutions. Barad" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Well, I repeat, I have no regrets for rejecting my messages, but than again what hearts me is ?Is our Goanet bias? Is our Goanet meant only for Catholics? Is our Goanet only meant to carry religious messages? Is our Goanet meant for chosen few? Is our Goanet meant to carry tavern spoken discussions? Is our Goanet reluctant to carry intellectual discussions? What is it that Goanet is up to???please advise me? Best regards, Dr. U. G.
