Dear Cornel,
Good, you have repeated what is being said: Hindu religion is not a religion, but a way of life.
Every religion is a way of life.
About the so-called polytheism of Hindu religion, the great German Indologist Max Müller would say that it is not polytheism, but 'henotheism', that is, there is one God under different modalities. Hindu religion is eclectic--it takes elements (gods and goddesses) from other religions and cultures. The Trimurti is one example. 'God' expresses the divine power, which human beings experience through creatures, hence this divine power is worshipped in different creatures and under different names. Myths are expressions of this process, stories of gods in relation to the world. God is symbolized differently. Prayer is to the Supreme Being.

Hi Eric
Pray which one? If you mean the Hindu religion, well it is not supposedly a religion but a way of life!
