Interesting walk down memory lane for the first true stars of Brazallian football, Garrincha (he shone before that guy Pele)! And apparently his genius was in his uneven legs. There is a documentary floating around on Garrincha and superbly put together.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/7197754.stm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garrincha And in the days before tv (late 70s) , when the unmistakable Benao ruled the football airwaves of All India Radio and brought life to football in every Goan home, there was our own Garrincha, Domnic (Vasco Club, http://www.vascoclub.com/vascoclub/history.asp) who quietly ruled the football fields. And I understand he has a problem with his legs. Most memorable is a sunny evening at the Campal ground where Goa Selection played a visiting Hungarian team...........Domnic's dribbling magic amazed the visiting Hungarians to being spectators on the field; in the second half, the visitors were content watching Domnic and his amazing skills with the ball. According to Benao, they stood around to watch him dribble...the game was at a standstill and no one cared it seems...there was a genius on the field....and it was indeed just a friendly that ended in a goal-less draw.
