Dear Goanetters,
Thanks to the recent shinanigans in Goan politics ( all,of course,engineered
solely by Manohar Parrikar ), two extremely important results have ensued :
1) One highly respected individual ( Churchill Alemao ) has already joined the
Congress ....and another even more divine entity ( Babush Monseratte ) is all
set to wear the Congress badge as well. We have to congratulate Sonia Gandhi
and Digamber Kamat for accepting them with open arms ,thus enriching the
Congress culture in Goa.The fact that these two awesome personalities were
slightly tainted by their association with Manohar Parrikar in July should in
no way be held against them....whatever minor stains left on their blemishless
characters by that brief association will soon be whitewashed by the Congress
washing machine ( aka spin machine ).
2) Much more important, is the fact that , thanks to Digamber Kamat and Jamir
,we are moving rapidly towards correcting all the shortcomings of the Indian
Constitution. I am amazed that this seminal step taken by the
"valiant,forthright and amazingly farsighted " CM of Goa and the "apolitical"
Governor went almost entirely unreported in the local media as well as on
Goanet.There was only one major editorial article I could find,that too in a
downmarket newspaper,praising this wonderful achievement :

I pray and hope the dastardly Manohar Parrikar allows this goverment to survive
its full term.....by then,at the rate they are going, Digamber Kamat and Jamir
will have replaced Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar as the architects of the new Indian
constitution.
