This incident happened when a close family (female) member of mine was
excited that thatshe passed the driving test and offered me a ride in her car,
at first she had trouble tostart and taking off. Finally after a couple of
jerks she got the car mooving but my heartwas in my mouth untill my bones too
frooze when she entered the highway thatswhen a couple on their scooter cooly
entered from the side lane not bothering to look left or right. I told our new
female driverto slow down and apply brakes but instead she pressed the
accelerator as hard as she could.

I was waiting for a true story like this (long wait) to come up.
First of all I wouldn't drive in Goa even if I was paid.
Those NRI's who do drive in Goa - do so, to SHOW OFF.
Scooters coming from the side without consideration to the flowing traffic on
the main road?
THIS SHOULD BE AGAINST THE LAW. But this IS the law in Goa (India?).
Secondly, the NRI card?
What is it? a licence for the officials to ask for a bribe? OR a label to put
on your forehead 'HERE COMES STUPID' - let's fleece this NRI.
