Woman raped in Goa Express Train 42 year old women raped by two men on the Nizamundhin bound Goa Express train. The incident took place on night of 4th February 2008 between Sangli and Karad.
The alleged rapists are Chandrakant 32 and Sharad 30. The victim begged for living at Miraj Station. But rape is a rape. Lesson to learn: Women, avoid travelling alone in any of the Indian trains. It looks like Indian trains are not safe for women travellers, even when travelling in (all women) groups.
