In a place like Goa if one has the money and political background he/she can
frame their own laws. The law is same for every citizen of this great country
as per the book of the law, but practically speaking there are different laws
for different people.Sons and daughters of the politicians in power has always
been seen mis-using the power of their father's but that was not the case with
the young innocent son of the strongman of Taleigao as per the news on the
local dailies. The recent incident between the Panjim Police and the strongman
from Taleigao is in the news continuously. If the same incident had happened to
an ordinary citizen like me and you, would it had been continuous hit news? If
an ordinary,innocent person can be falsely charged and put behind the bars, why
cant a MLA or a minister? The great Parrikars two great different statements
one favoring and other exactly opposite to the first proves how cheap quality
politician he is?The statements by the lost
M.L.A from Curtorim,Mr. Francisco Sardinha and the home minister,Ravi Naik
blaming the communal opposition leader once again confirms how low they stand
morally.
How many times the elected members in power have used the Goa Police the way
they want? How many times the politicians in power have instructed the Police
to lift the innocents from their homes just because they have campaigned
against them during the last elections? Has Babush never involved in such
incidents when in power? Has the people in power dont ask for their favorite
cops in their respective Police stations which falls under their
constituencies? The Goa Police has been known for dancing to the tunes of the
politicians in Power.Sorry to say that most of the Police Offiicers has bought
the jobs form the politicians in power.
Why the Police had to misbehave with the wife of Babush?Why the Police had to
touch the innocent son of the ex-minister in the BJP as well as in the Congress
government?This is where the Police lost the Public sympathy.Their act against
Jennifer and her son,Amit confirmed that there is not much difference between
the goondas and the men in uniform.After that ugly incident the capital city
started to stink like anything due to the
non-collection of the garbage by the concerned laborers as they went on
strike to seek justice for their beloved Mayor who also turned out to be the
Police victim on that fateful Tuesday.
Calling for Bandhs and going on strikes will only affect common people like
me and you and not the real Culprits,the politicians.Go and knock the doors of
the concerned ministers and the authorities,dump the garbage infront of their
houses to seek justice,please dont victimize the common people.One cant trust
a politician at any cost,they are the same ones who had plans to sell Goa and
goenkars in the name of Regional Plan,SEZ's etc. for all,they all belongs to
one family and let them sort out their own problems,we the common people should
stay away from such ugly incidents.The politicians of Goa has made goenkars to
suffer and their suffering should be our success
There is a great say in Konkani aiz mhaka,falleam thuka and that is what
exactly happened to the ex-minister from Taleigao.
