Kitem amcho Fuddar?
Our ancestors did a lot to Goa and goenkars,they knew that people like me
won't be able to do anything in our own Goa and even if we show interest in
doing something our fellow
crab-mentality bothers and sisters will be all out against our interests and
that's one of the reasons, decades ago they bought Clubs(Coods) for us in
Mumbai,a centre to search for a better life.
Our leaders talk about IT parks,food parks etc forgetting that Goa,itself was
a natural beautiful park which has been turned into a concrete jungle.A poor
man has to run from the pillar to the post to get a NOC to plaster his own old
mud house but for the rich and the powerfull to convert a cultivable land into
a concrete jungle is not a big deal.First of all,our elected government cannot
deal with the present garbage problem and I wander how they will be able to
deal with the same problem in future if they continue with the attitude of
bringing these parks in Goa, fooling goenkars saying that,it will solve our
employment problem?
Will our next generation be able to experience the taste of Chunam,Charam and
Kandam? Will there some land remain for our own next generation?India in one
country,one can go and work anywhere within the country but how we,the niz
goenkars can just sell our rights to the non goans.Thanks to the politicians
and their chamchas for helping them out to get their Voters ID cards issued and
it's sad to believe that some of the niz goenkars still don't possess the same.
Our elected representatives where known even for tempering the mark-sheets of
their nephews and nieces in the past.They changed the primary education from
English to Devnagri-Konkani but their children hardly studied in these Konkani
medium schools.Most of the parents were and are against that government idea
but the then PDF government did injustice to the innocent students.These change
in medium in government funded schools gave rise to Private English medium
schools.These schools asks for a huge amount of donation to sell admissions.Is
this not corruption in form of Donation?During my schhol days,konkani was not
even a mandatory subject but now it is sad to say that the medium of education
is in Konkani.Poor parents who intends to send their children in the Private
run Schools can't afford due to high donations and fees as a result they are
forced to study in the government funded Konkani medium primary schools.Is this
not the injustice to the poor children studying in
the konkani medium schools where as their rich friends study in the Private
English medium Schools.Is this not a division caused between the poor and the
rich as far as education is concerned?If so who is responsible for all this
mess?
