Hi Venantius, You are being misled about what I said. I submit to you that my assertion in this regard would be acceptable without any change. Here is my quote for your information: "I heard recently that even the extremely bhailo Robert Newman, who arguably knows more about Goan culture than any other contemporary bhitol'lo or bhitol'lem, was not spared in this regard." I am sure you will note the words "arguably" and "contemporary", and the sense in which the words "bhitol'lo" and "bhitol'lem" are used. Cheers, Santosh
