Dear Ana Maria and Mario,
Is Christianity, a religion? To us it is not, its only a relationship with
Christ.

Leo,

You are free to believe anything you want. I'm glad you have a relationship
with Christ, but please don't turn conventional Catholic teaching and the
English language on its head.

Christianity is clearly a religion by any normal standard. The dictionary
definition is: "the religion derived from Jesus Christ, based on the Bible as
sacred scripture, and professed by Eastern, Roman Catholic, and Protestant
bodies."

Answer: It is one of the many denominations, which started in the First century.

Worshipping in different houses does not constitute different "denominations".
That's like saying each Catholic parish is a Christian denomination. There
were no other Christian "denominations" that started in the first century that
trace their beginnings through St. Peter directly to Jesus Christ.

Faith encourages worshipping idol,

This is patently false. Roman Catholics are taught to worship only God, not
idols. You are probably confused by the images of saints in our churches.
Saints are not "worshipped". Prayers to saints ask them to intercede for us in
heaven.

Christianity is relationship with Christ, as he mentioned 'I am the Way, the
Truth and the Life. No one can comes to the Father except through me'. John 14,
Ver 6.
