I'm being drowned by a whole lot of information about the British mother of
murdered teenager in Anjuna, indicted for murder when she was young and naive
and trusting, five different fathers of her children, her lifestyle and so on.
CCC-IBN and NDTV showed her caravans in UK and details of how she is living on
dole etc. They are trying to completely discredit her,take away the spotlight
on where it should be,namely the drug mafia and easy access to all kinds of
drugs,late night illegalities and unchecked crime thriving with
politicians,police,mafia nexus.Latest is Fiona served with summons at 10PM, to
report to Anjuna Police station next morning.Why at 10PM? Then tests to
determine age of Scarlette, so they can say she was not a minor and get those
guys off the hook with"consensual sex"?. Our CM says case cracked, and that
should be the end of it! Todays paper reports two british girls got separated
at a Sangolda Disco at 4AM, and one went missing!Anjuna cops now in a
tizzy, found the other missing girl, dead drunk and fast asleep on the steps
of a guesthouse in Anjuna and reportedly escorted her home. Our Tourism
Department AND British Embassy needs to note such profiligacy by their citizens!
Public pressure is required, to prevent further investigation and stem exposing
,like they managed for Tehelka!The Army officers involved were punished,but
secretaries/public officials, not only kept the money Tehelka bribed them with,
but were promoted and are still living in style!Tehelka was hounded to penury
and to close down! I completely agree with Marie Dsouza, and wish Goanet can
spearheading a campaign for using this occasion to galvanise public opinion to
save Goas reputation and from becoming a crime ruled State!.
