While I agree with Vinay on the core of his message , there are a couple of points that need to be challenged. VN says : MP provided corruption free governance. AV : Disagree vehemently. There was a small but significant decrease in corruption ( probably the first downward trend since liberation ) By no stretch of imagination was corruption eradicated. VN says : BJP epitomised the hopes and expectations of Goan people ( during its term in power ) AV : Disagree again. Particularly the minority communities felt threatened by certain actions of the BJP government. Fortunately , non of these were serious ....but they were sufficient to help in consolidation of the anti-BJP minority vote and breeding mistrust of MP and BJP even among the intellectuals from those communities. regards, anand
