"Freedom of Speech" also requires that the individual accepts
responsibility to respect the rights, and respect others. For example, one
cannot shout "Fire" in a crowded theater and expect to get away with it.
I think what Nicholas was saying was forbearance on the part of certain
posters polluting Goanet cyberspace with vacuous (sometimes fatuous)
postings. Restraint should be exercised in being critical and sometimes
abusive of the opinions or views of others. There is also an aspect of
"gotcha" in some of the postings and pyrotechnics and mental gymnastics in
proving how much smarter some of us as compared to others. The preenings by
some peacocks is not only offensive but raises the spectre of what the
motives really are. A little humility never hurt nobody!

I am getting a little tired of so many vacuous postings on Goanet, many of
them by individuals who only seem to want their 24 hours in the limelight.
Mario responds:
Dear Nicholas,
It is a good idea to take a nap when getting tired:-))
