These photographs (as earlier ones) are absolutely fantastic. Do keep them coming! One thing I wanted to know was about the licensing terms. Since nothing is explicitly stated, one assumes that they are (C) All Rights Reserved. Which would mean that explicit permission would be required to reproduce them. It can also create difficulties in linking them to blogs, etc. One solution, to which I was pointed by FN, and have found very useful is Creative Commons licensing. The license I most frequently use is at http://creativecommons.org/license/results-one?license_code=by-nc-nd. This ensures that the person taking the photographs/writing the material is acknowledged, that use is non-commercial, and that the material has to be used as is, without modification. And it enables material to be freely used for public purposes and creating awarenesa. There are 11 different Creative Commons licenses, ranging from between the extremes of pure public domain to All Rights Reserved (which means that permission has to be explicitly sought for every use, however laudable). One can select the licensing terms that one finds most suitable. -- Question everything -- Karl Marx
