My God! There is no discipline in the car park area, Road, crowded streets, people just push each other and they simply don't care. Our driver too was pushed so hard that he lost one of his shoes, and there is no way we could trace it. I almost fell on the ground once. It seems the women in the crowd had no problem at all. Perhaps this is a part of the 'porampora'. WE saw many foreign tourists too in the crowd and they did take it lightly. I too had no problem (infact I loved it) but I was only worried about my wallet and I was warned about the pick-pocketers too. And what more? the so called young 'Dhond' religious men or the fire walkers were the worst. They just go up and down and when they saw young girls they simply switch the direction to follow them. No doubts, there were many other naughty boys too. The road to the fire place was so crowded that it almost looks like a stampede.. My driver did warn me about this. Police? No sign of them, it was too much for them to handle the crowd anyway. We arrive back home around 4.30am after one hour wait at the ferry. We left Shirgao at 2.15am At ferry, our car was just second in the Q but when empty feryy docked almost all 40 two wheelers took all the space with just one car so we waited another 45 minutes. At home we noticed our trousers were almost red, hair covered with thick dust etc as the whole Shirgao Zatra Area is a Mining belt.
