I read some rave reviews about authentic Goa fish curry rice at Godinho in Panaji(Near National Theatre). So I ordered a veg soup(Rs20/-) and the said rice dish (Rs 50/-) comes with fried fish and some red bajji (Veg).I thought it was a disgrace as authentic etc. The only two places upto "original"goan standard at reasonable cost I found are NH 17 at Porvorim and the place under the Cortalim bridge where goan boiled rice is a great addition...........JEG
