Samir,
On the contrary, the BRIC countries (Brazil, India, Russia and China) are just
starting to adopt this type of capitalism. The exploitation you are
experiencing, is only the start of the ills that are going to come with
development.

Bloomberg is the most comprehensive financial info service known to man. It
cost a thousand dollars a month to have access to their service. When you pay
that kind of money, you receive every last detail of info, warts and all, so
that you can make a decision based on ALL that is available. Bloomberg is based
in New York. It has made its owner a billionair and now the mayor of the city.
When any analysts puts forth a recommendation i.e. buy, sell or hold, Bloomberg
dutifully notes down the date and projected price and keeps the info available
forever. Thus it is not hard to track any analysts, even if he changes jobs,
As for shutting down the Sesa Goa mines, Bloomberg will report every bit of
news on the company. The moment there is the potential of a mine shutting down
due to environmental concerns, not only would the fickle investor sell (without
waiting for a sell recommendation from the analysts) but the more adventurous
would actually short sell the Sesa Goa shares forcing the price down.

Quite frankly, so far, all you have provided are allegations. Maybe there is
more info available in Goa but I have not seen it in print. I guess it helps
when the mining houses also control the media. On the other hand, I have also
seen what is literally a bunch of illiterate peasants force the largest mining
companies in the world to stop operating in their villages because of
environmental concerns. This is AFTER the multi-nationals had invested hundreds
of million dollars in a mine. This is happening with some regularity in the
Andes today.
As far as being the enemy of Goa, I have no investments in Goa. The system is
too corrupt for me.
