Thanks for Edwards Lopes and JoeGoaUK for trying to find the name of Nolasco
Dias's song. It was unfortunate they did not find it. However, I found the
cassette, Lawrence de Tiracol Presents Golden Film Hits (additional lyrics,
re-mix, re-arrangement by Lawrence de Tiracol). I know re-mixing is Tiracol's
tool. The song's title is Khoro Mog. It was not featured in any film. The other
songs have been acknowledged in brackets from their respective films such as
Nirman, Amchem Boxib, Sukhanchem Sopon, Buuerantlo Munis. The vocals are by
Lorna, Anupama, Nephie Rod, Connie rose, H. Britton, Young Chico, Mozart.
Produced by Sinaris in 2001, the disclaimer says, Recorded as per provisions of
section 52 of the Copyright Act of 1957. Original copyright owner: The
Gramphone Co of India Ltd.
I am not sure if Khoro Mog was record on a 45rpm. If he was, then I would like
to know if anyone is aware of its existence. I am sure Akashvani Goa has it but
if anyone knows anyone working there it would be possible to find out. Is there
a request programe on AIR for Konkani songs?
As for Khoro Mog, the name of the lyricist/singer/music director is not given.
I cannot even identify the voices, male and female. I wish to turn it into MP3
and would be willing to post to anyone who could identify the voices. I need to
know this information for very personal reason, especially to clarify doubts.
