Thank you Iain so much for your feedback Drowning Deaths: I really finds disturbing when I read such deaths almost every day on local Dailies (there were two in today's newspapers) Imagine, the state of my mind when I see two such drowning deaths almost live..
We were sitting on a fence next to Foodland (Miramar) discussing the plans for the night and on new years day. Suddenly we saw a group of 4-5 youth jointly carrying this.. This was on the New year’s Eve (2007) http://www.flickr.com/photos/joegoauk13/2153320901/sizes/l/ My mood was off when I found out the youth were carryiing their own friend’s body.. http://www.flickr.com/photos/joegoauk13/2154114538/sizes/l/ Then again (In 5 weeks time) witnessed this one http://www.flickr.com/photos/joegoaukextras/2263479924/sizes/l/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/joegoaukextras/2263478716/sizes/l/ Believe me or not, since then, every time I pass by the sea or a river, somehow I feel that I would find a floating body in the waters.. Thank you once again Quote: [Goanet] Welcome to Goa but... Iain Colquhoun iain.colquhoun at hotmail.com Tue Jun 10 21:37:51 PDT 2008 Excellent though disturbing video from JoeGoaUK in Vol 3 Issue 705 about bathers at Miramar Beach. I had the misfortune of witnessing the drowning of a young couple at Sinquerim beach during last monsoon - the image stayed with me for weeks. They too were fully dressed but had not gone frolicking in the water but were pulled in by some freak waves. The sea can be cruel at the best of times, but even more so during the monsoon months. I only hope more people watch this video and heed the message.
