I do not know who all sat down to draft the Indian Constitution (as I was not
an Indian then). Reading now the daily news around, it looks to me that certain
species of animals are more protected than the others. If a human being is
murdered, run over by a vehicle, killed by a mad dog bite, harassed by monkeys,
threatened by stray animal on roads; the law does not provide any protection to
these two legged animals. On the contrary, if these two legged animals catch a
frog, kill a mad dog, or cow or an aggressive monkey, the law enforcers rush to
protect these animals and arrest the two legged ones. Which makes me derive at
a conclusion that these two legged animals must have been a minority when the
constitution was drafted. Or the other possibility that comes to my mind is a
retrogressive evolution taking place with many of the two legged animals having
genes of four legged ones. Dr. Ferdinando dos Reis Falcão
