Dear Sir/ Madam The City of Panaji has been selected to avail funds for urban improvements under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM). In this regard, the Corporation of the City of Panaji has commissioned consultants, Groupe SCE India, Bangalore, to prepare Detailed Project Reports for four project areas: Urban Renewal Heritage Conservation Mobility Basic Services for the Urban Poor For preparing the Detailed Project Reports, the consultants have planned an extensive public involvement process, which include meetings with the ward councilors, visiting each ward, conducting interviews with specific organizations, NGOs and other informal groups, and conducting basic surveys of the city of Panaji. The Corporation of the City of Panaji is supporting this effort and would like to hold a public open house event. This event is to encourage the public to provide their comments and suggestions on the issues, concerns and possible projects for the city under each of the four project areas mentioned above. In this regard, the CCP extends an invitation to you to attend and actively participate in the open house event and provide your comments, suggestions on the issues that Panaji City faces and the necessary priority projects thereof.
