Saligao Institute at Arrarim observes the 75th year of its founding in 2008. Its celebration evening and prize distribution is scheduled for August 14, 2008 at 7 pm.
"To celebrate of 75th, we have planned an exciting evening starting with the prize distribution, followed by a varied cultural programme, culminating in our now popular song-and-dance session. This time, we have a professional DJ in attendance," says an announcement from SI president Jorge Carvalho and general secretary Elsa D'Souza. Intimate participation from Aug 6 to 12, between 6 to 7.30 pm. Members Rs 30, children below 12 Rs 15 and guests Rs 50.
