This morning, I had a close brush with Babush, Goa's new education
minister...literally..
Getting out of my van, at the side of a narrow street in Margao while it
was raining cats & dogs, I almost got run-over by a white looking jeep
like vehicle... a Prado or a Honda something... screaching at my feet,
and blaring his horn away, I only registered the number plate...a big no
'1'. For us commoners, its illegal to have such number plates, but not
for the Babushes an Joaquims of Goa.
After giving me a snear, and an extra loud blare of the horn, I jumped
out of the way just in time to see Babush at the wheels, in some tearing
hurry...
And now as our new education minister, perhaps he plans to educate us on
how to break rules, attack police stations, vandalize, and more...
