BY PAMELA D'MELLO PANAJI Aug. 27: Use of the caste word chamar by BJP former CM Manohar Parrikar in the Goa Assembly, sparked off protests from scheduled castes' organisations on Wednesday. A scheduled caste federation led a protest march on Wednesday to the Goa Assembly, demanding retraction of the word. "If Mr Parrikar can use the word, then people in the villages will start calling us by our caste names," said the president of the federation. *** http://howrah.org/india_news/26297.html COMMENT: My Dear Rajan Parrikar, Chari and Bhandare....not to mention all our Dotors that signed in favour of Shri Parrikar. Your man has the propensity to put his foot in it, literally. I am available to offer guidance at 80,000 RPS per month - just enought to keep me in beer. -- DEV BOREM KORUM. Gabe Menezes. London.
