Goans, Its very sad to see Bihar under floods. 35 lakhs homeless. One of the remark I read is :- QUOTE "The floods of yore used to come, wash the lands, and go. Thoughtless development, unleashed by politicians and engineers, over the years, has pushed the populace of Bihar into a permanent flood trap. UNQUOTE There are many rain water passages(WAII-pls correct my konkani spelling) which used to move safely on course through villages into seas/rivers/lakes are slowly getting blocked due to DEVELOPMENT in Goa. Sorry to say dont cry later on if at all there is flood in Goa. St.Francis Xavier will not protect you always for our own sins. So do proper development if you love Goa and its people.
