Cornel is right. All human beings will do whatever it takes to survive and 
offer a better future for their children. There were a lot of things told to 
me, that would make a Bihari in Goa blush in shame. I didn't include these 
things in the article, because they were over the top. But while, we rant and 
rave against Ghanttis in Goa, it is a sobering thought to realise we are all 
Ghanttis in someone else's land. Goans are no better or no worse than any other 
ethnic group.

Understandably, I have become persona-non-grata in Swindon, but these stories 
have to be told no matter how unpalatable they are to hear. I am now gathering 
information on East African Goans, and where they congregated when they first 
arrived. :-)

As I said, my aim is to aggravate every Goan group in diaspora and then move to 
Sweden, where I will have only sweet Alfred Tavares to write about :-))
