Eugene,

My first thought when I saw this post of yours was that I should totally ignore it knowing well that if one disturbs a wiper eating dust, it is surely going to strike back with venom. But on second thought, and since you are trying to get at me through the Goa Su-Raj Party, I have decided to respond.

So here we go:-

Subject: [Goanet] Goa Su-Raj Party and Floriano

Further to Miguel Braganza's observations on Floriano and his Goa Su-Raj Party, I feel the need to add that Floriano's roadmap leads to just one place -- his home.

Floriano: Next time when you are in Goa and when you are looking for a free drink, I have a 'black lable' kept for you, unopened.

My talks with political observers and a few politicians in Goa has convinced me that GSRP is nothing but an "internet" voice. When Floriano contested against Babush, he said words to the effect that he was doing it for the sake of democracy as no one else wanted to oppose the sitting MLA. Floriano knew he would be thrashed but still his vanity forced him to go and stand against a man who is very powerful in his constituency. To make democracy work, one does not have to make a political fool of oneself. The odds were heavily staked against Floriano but he felt it would do his party some good taking on the heavyweight.

Floriano: One does not need a scientist to come to the conclusion that Goa Su-Raj Party is an internet party. Tell me which other party has a website which is updated on day to day basis? Besides, from day one , since the year 2000, Goa Su-Raj has been very vocal on internet. If you didn't know that and had to chum-up with Goa's politicians including some twits who go as political know alls, you are slipping very badly, Eugene. Furthermore, I wouldn't waste my precious time to explain to you what democracy is all about. Babush Monserrate may be a heavyweight for you, and perhaps for a lot of others twits too. Because you people only see MONEY. I have nothing against Babush though., But everything against people like you who have peanuts for brains. Sad indeed.

His earlier failed attempt to win an assembly seat should have made Floriano wiser.
Floriano: Eugene, you must remember that a fool always considers others to be fools without exceptions.

A man who said I should be banned from all Goan events projects himself as a demagogue. Someone who enjoys criticising others but does not want his friends to be criticised is nothing but a hypocrite.

Floriano: A wiper at work here as stated above and very much understandable. Let me give you a piece of advice. When you criticise some one, let it be criticism and nothing else. Do not blabber like a 'woman' who has seen it for the first time. Okay? Your reports are full of blabber. It does not give a picture of a consistent mind.

Elsewhere he said that Manmohan Singh should be jailed for the events in Orissa. His outburst against Manmohan clears shows his political naivete naivete. Before making wild suggestions, Floriano should think twice.

Floriano: Manmohan Singh may be a God Almighty for you. But according to me he, as the Prime Minister, has no right to let people die at the hands of the VHP punks. He has failed this country miserably and that is that on this score.

I only hope that the sun rises on his political intellect. If it does not happen, then perhaps Su-Raj Party could turn into a Goo-Raj Party.

Floriano: Why Eugene ! Are you scared that the Goo will come splashing all over your head? Don't worry. Nothing like that will happen. Remember the famous Goan saying: KAUM'LEANIM XHIRAP GATLEAR DORAM MORONAN" Besides, my promise is as good as gold. The Black Lable will be around when you need it.
