Hi Victor and Fred,

Thanks for your help in deciphering the word "obnubliating".  Likely Augusto's
descriptors said more about Fred, than Fred knew about himself.:=))

Till your clarification arrived, I was doing my own 'research' on
"obnubliating".  My spell-check displayed "obnubliating" as an error in
spelling.  Midway through Augusto's post was a descriptor to "twisting
urinating". This is rather theatrical, but not so graphic if one has this
problem. So I was wondering:

Is obnubliating a combination of obnub and (uri) nating?

Is obnub ...
A Konkani word for the Goan urinal?
Does it denote a watering hole in Goa?Or is it a name of a tree or shrub?

Answer: Refers to a plant Acarospora obnubila H. Magn.
http://plants.usda.gov/java/profile?symbol=ACOB4
So was a reference to "obnubliating", a visit to the plant "Acarospora
obnubila"?
We live and learn every day.:=))

My take on the word, obnubliating means clouding over, obfuscating.
