Holiday's of modern era. We have enough problems without the guns, Our police are struggling to sort out the swords cache case in Margao and you can imagine what will happen, when guns and mortars come pouring in. At times we do feel the need for a gun in our hands, when we are faced with situations like these, believe me, very often I feel that, if I had an AK47 in my hand the " 40 inmates" of our Vidhan Sabha would be history, but that wouldn't be right, would it ? So lets give the Law a chance to redeem itself and apprehend and punish the guilty so that we feel secure in own homes and in our own land. For Aam Aadmi to get a gun license is nearly impossible, but if you are really interested in getting one, my advise is, join Goan politics and get elected, before elections these scum bags mingle freely with the public bagging for votes, but once elected, they start toting guns for security against the very same people who elected them. I am not sure whether they get a license but none the less most of them carry guns. Mr. Sanjay Banderkar the former Minister from Agonda has to hand guns and is not afraid to show them off in public. In April 2005, when we grilled him regarding the Cabo-de-Rama land scam issue, on site, he showed those two guns which he kept in the glove compartment of his car, after most of us had left and a few of his "chamchas" were around. If he had shown those guns while the whole crowd was there, may be some of us (our villagers) or Mr. Bandekar would have been the victims of those guns. Violence only begets violence my friends. Those who live by the sword die by the sword.
