Today morning I attended My first Village Gramsabha. By Gods grace everything
went peacefully. It was started at 10.30am Sunday 26th Oct. 2008
1. Attempt of assault on Prajal Sakhardande was condemned by Gram Sabha.
2. Regional plan 2021 draft paper are not received by Panchayat. It was
resolved to get taleigao map to the scale of 1:5000 Reginal plan of 2021 and
immediately call Special meeting.
3. 12 Ward members where selected, I dont no why?
4. Illegal compound wall for which Mrs. Shanti Almeda had objected via letter
in Feb 07 and no reply received by her from Panchayat till date, Panchayat will
write to authorities regarding, how it was regularized when panchayat has not
given permission?
Sarpanch Janu Rosario tried his best to mishandled the situation.
Presence of police force, they were not invited by Panchayat, kept the
situation under control.
I left at 11.45 due to unrgent call.
It was confirmed by 12.20 that Gramsabha ended peacfully.
almost all the Cable media people were present at the venue.
