Dear Teo, My apologies if you felt the subtitle to your article misrepresented the intention with which you wrote it. As you would be aware, it is standard journalistic practice to adapt the title -- either to fit the space available, or to make it a bit more tempting to read. In the case of your article, the original title was UNWRAPPING GOAN IDENTITY. To this, I added the subtitle "Finding the right distraction to schizophrenia?" It was based on the line from your text: "Until we can eradicate it [caste], we can hardly call ourselves global Goans. We will remain puny caste-bound Goans doing relatively well globally. In the meantime only the common cause against the "bhaile" will distract us from our schizophrenia." I wouldn't see it as 'spicing up', but certainly, yes, there is an attempt to draw the reader's attention to the article.
