Sandeep Heble: Many people commit the fundamental error of equating an anti-BJP post with an anti-Hindu post. There are a lot of Hindus who do not see eye-to-eye with the ideologies of the BJP or the Sangh Parivar so it would be ridiculous to equate an anti-BJP stance to an anti-Hindu stance.
Response: Sandeep, I owe you a huge gratitude. You have said exactly what I have been repeatedly saying for so long. It is a common misconception that many people make of equating hindutva with hinduism. Hindutva is an ideology like fascism or nazism from where it draws its inspiration. Hindutva as an ideology is harmful not only for the minorities whom it targets specifically, but also for communists and secular Hindus whom it considers as its enemy and as MaCaulay's agents. I would recommend once again for all persons who have an independent mind and like to think to read the following books "We or our nationhood defined" and "Bunch of Thoughts" by M S Golwalkar and Brotherhood in Saffron. They will give you a keen insight into the thinking of the sangh parivar and explain all the violence against minorities taking place today. Regards, Marshall
