It should be obvious to any critical reader as to why posts like the one appended below amount to over-zealous political or communal propaganda. Let me enumerate the reasons below:
1. The author makes some statements without independently verifying the accuracy and giving the sources of the information contained in them. 2. He appears to believe all of his unsourced information hook line and sinker, and expects the readers to believe it as well. 3. He does not tell us how many non-Christians were killed, how many non-Christian properties were destroyed, and how many non-Christians became homeless. 4. He does not tell us how many individuals including policemen died in the clashes with the police, and how many have run away from their homes to hide in the jungle in order to hide from the police. 5. He does not bother to tell us that a Hindu swami was killed, who is implicated in his murder, and that his murder triggered the recent riots. 6. He does not tell us anything about the involvement of Maoists and their alliances with the local leaders in the initial and subsequent killings. 7. He has carried on a one-sided campaign of this nature for a long time now - an irresponsible campaign that has involved the spreading of at least one malicious rumor. 8. He only selects articles from the mainstream media and partisan activist websites that promote his biased partisan view. He never posts any related articles from mainstream media that do not fit in with his agenda e.g. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow/msid-3902483,prtpage-1.cms (entitled "Now, netas in Orissa under lens for using fake caste certificates), and http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow/msid-3414130,prtpage-1.cms (entitled "Kandhmal has a history of communal flare-ups") 9. He does not post skeptical views from the other side in the mainstream media e.g. this editorial - http://newstodaynet.com/printer.php?id=11295 (entitled "The problem in Kandhamal district of Orissa is two-dimensional") 10. He has not posted anything on the findings of investigations into the recent riots and the killing of the swami which triggered them, e.g. http://www.indianexpress.com/news/net-closes-in-on-cong-mp-for-orissa-swamis-murder/403507/ (entitled "Net closes in on Cong MP for Orissa swami’s murder") 11. He believes that all readers of Goanet, Christian and non-Christian, buy his version of events and his "facts", and that he speaks for all Goanet when he poses rhetorical questions to some of us like Miguel, Sandeep and myself who do not fall for his one-sided partisan propaganda.
