Albert writes:- Behold the lamb of God. Jesus Christ was the lamb which was
sacrificed for the salvation of all human beings. This is the biggest sacrifice
that God would offer for our salvation. Let us change our lives. When Jesus
Christ rose to Heaven with a promise of sending the Holy Ghost which would give
strength to all the apostles as they had been shaken up and were in grip of
fear after Jesus was captured and nailed to the cross. But on arrival of the
Holy Ghost all the apostles became born again christians. They called
themselves believers to distinguish themselves from other Jews. We are still
pagans and do idol worship. You may give excuses that you do not adore statues
but the moment you bend your knees before any mud or wooden statues you are
worshipping an idol. One is supposed to bend his knee before a cross because it
is the weapon of salvation. We should bow our heads before God who cannot be
made into a statue or His picture drawn. "I am the Lord thy God you will not
have any other gods before me was given to us with power and force. God wants
His supremacy to be owned by all His people. It is the word of God that will
give us nourishment and no other food. People may tell you lots of stories but
they remain mere stories. There are many who go for mass and they receive the
Holy Communion. If they had received the body of the Lord why are the people
always the same ? it is because either we have not received it properly or
there is some other excuses.Those who pray the most, those who attend the mass
everyday have nothing extraordinary to talk about .They have not become Christ.
When Jesus rose from the dead he appeared before some of the disciples and was
found talking along the way asking them what had happened and they told him
about the death of Jesus without realising who he was and when he came to their
house and broke the bread and blessed it and dissappeared they realised their
heart was burning when he was with them. When Jesus was on earth and when the
apostles were with him they never left him but followed him everywhere.Their
life had changed. They listened to the word of God preached by him. Jesus only
spoke about the God's kingdom and never spoke about a sacrifice though the
priests in the old testament offered a lamb in sacrifice. He went to the
synogue and preached the scriptures .Why do we not take scriptures as a centre
of our religion and read, digest and assimilate the word of God ?
