Tim,
I really enjoyed George Bush 43.
He inherited a budget surplus and left massive deficits, debauching the US
dollar in the process.
As a result of his er, leadership, the US is losing 500,000 jobs PER MONTH.
This month 500,001 jobs will be lost but I am not worried for Georgie. I
am sure that he will find something soon,
even if it is a position as a drinking buddy to someone i.e. sliping back into
the position he held before he
was elected to public office. One last word for George Bush 43, Katrina.
As for the inauguration, I will be sitting back with my E. African peers,
and some cold beers, celebrating the victory.
Since the Luo's reside in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Sudan, all of East Africa
will be celebrating the victory of
their son.
I believe that the whole world has acknowledged that the intelligence of E.
Africans has prevented another terrorist
attack in the area. In fact, the US has acknowledged this intelligence by
electing an E. African, Hussein Obama,
as their leader. Hussein Obama has promised change. The change that has to come
is:
1) Closing down of Guantanamo.
2) Returning to adhering to the Geneva Conventions on torture.
3) Allowing the International Court of Justice to try both Bush and Cheney for
war crimes.
Anything less than that would not mean change. It would only mean the switching
of one type of failed President for
a darker variety.

I will leave you folks with this Kiswahili saying:
Mwana simba ni simba.
The child of lion is a lion.
