By now, it is quite a well known fact that cows generate more emissions than
aircrafts which once prompted Michael O’Leary, the boss of the budget airline
Ryanair, to suggest that a solution to the global warming would be the massacre
of the world’s cattle.
But mass slaughter of the world’s cattle is no solution and besides that would
have been okay if we could milk aircrafts. But figuratively up to now it is
airlines that have been milking us – budget airlines being no exception.
Mass massacre apart, as an environmentalist I do my bit by being a beef eater.
And like minded people should consider the option and help reduce global
warming.
