Candolim villagers form human chain

PANAJI- Around 450 Candolim villagers formed a human chain around the derelict
vessel �River Princess� to protest against its non-removal till date. The
vessel has been grounded off the beach since June 2000.
However Gomantak Marathi has repoted chain of 250 with beatuful photo.
I recollect similar situation regarding Mandir Suraksha Sameiti meeting held on
Jan 17. NT reported as crowd of 10k however Times of india reported 70k and
local Marathi papers repoted 25k.
As can be seen it looks clear that MLA Shri. Agnelo Fernandes made an
impressive presence in Last Assembly session. Presence of only 250/450 on
Sunday does not looks good for MLA, he is loosing his base in calangute.
