I second the excerpts written by Mario Goveira and Nascy Caldeira on
this forum. I do hope some of the ministers and hypocrites read these
beautiful articles! I also think Freida Pinto looked gorgeous and sexy
in her evening dress instead of a saree at the 'Oskar award academy'
celebrations in the US. It suited the occassion. In Bollywood perhaps
she could have worn a saree. As the old saying goes ' When in Rome, do
as the Romans do.'
I also hope the Indian women who stroll on the beaches in Goa or go
swimming will start wearing bikinis or bathing suits. One cannot swim in
a saree anyway? Indian women with their beautiful brown skin would look
smashing and sexy in bikinis, I'm sure. This way an Indian woman wearing
a bathing suit wouldn't be rare and women wouldn't be gloated at!
