Dear Venantius,
I readily appreciate what you have to say.
However, I do not extend apologies where none are required.
I have openly admitted that my election fund raising idea was supported by
Timblo. Actually I challenged him to do that. I did not go to him but he
came to me through Rajan Narayan of the Goan Observer where I was one of the
directors. I piffed off his offer of money and challenged him to sponsor the
fundraising dinner at his hotel with scotch served. He accepted the
challenge at first but wanted to back off subsequently. I did not allow him
to do that. As a result it was not a Suturday Night dinner as planned but
the Sunday lunch. Election commission was there to count the plates. Audhut
spent next to Rs. 90,000/- on that lunch and Goa Su-Raj collected almost Rs.
60,000/- through lunch coupons from friends of the Party. Audhut holds Rs.
90,000/- worth of Goa Su-Raj Party's printed pledges along with a letter of
appreciation. My election accounts are audited by the Election Commission
and the lunch account is incorporated in it.
Rajan Parrikar seems to be paranoid about saving Goa. But Goa does not only
belong to him. It also belongs to me. I have extended him an open invitation
to stand before me with a holdable challenge if he can.
Herald, GT has published my reaction to the ordinance. I have a lot of
friends including Audhut. I will always remain a friend to them. But that
does not mean that I have to be their enemy if they falter and fall flat. I
will pick them up but tell them that they deserved to fall because of their
bad actions. That is my way of working. If Rajan thinks that I have to
shoot Audhut down, let him gift to me the AK-47. I shall be only glad to
shoot many more along with him :-)).
And one more thing. I am doing no one a favour and no one is doing a favour
to me. OK??
Every one Goan has the right and the obligation to save Goa. I don't want to
be told how to do it. Period.
I have told Rajan to take a hike if he feels he considers himself a superior
Goan.

Dear Floriano,
This is what I was hoping would not happen. I for one am aware that you
are
relatively different, but the fact that you fell short of stating your
disdain in no uncertain terms, brought about this valid response from
Rajan.
It is valid because of the stakes involved as you would know. At the very
least do what none of the other politicians ever do/ and perhaps never
will--tender a full apology, even including for the fact that you wished
the
Timblo scion well. The apology may get dismissed out right but it would
still have been tendered. And considering that one is rarely proferred by
Goanetters leave alone Goan politicans that says a little bit. As it has
been said: Its better to light a candle than curse the darkness. The point
is, damned if you do and damned if you don't. Its moral relativism time
for
you. Furthermore be precise in your logic (this forum appreciates logic as
you know).
Also forget about ever talking money from any of these guys, unless it it
to
be put directly into a project and supra above board OR you are able to
fight tool and nail. Not for mounting a campaing for an election. I know
it
is eay for me to say this. But look at the pens that are massedon the
horizon. But one cannot expect any reprieve now that your every action and
language will be perceived and analyzed, rightly by r, or brusquely by
others who will now pile on.
Bless you bro. Do the right thing if this makes sense. Btw, I heard a joke
somehwere where even Satan is miffed that the Goans have been putting off
the fires in hell. The Goans in heaven are demanding biryani.

The GT letter you have posted does not square
with the fiery rhetoric you have been giving us
about Goa Suraj. Your verbal pirouette around Timblo
is embarrassing when you should have been reading
him the riot act. How can you now claim that Goa Suraj
is a different kind of political party?
By your peculiar logic, several other construction
violations can be similarly justified. After all,
once something has been built "no one is going
to profit, not even the environment, if the
demolition is carried out." (your words)
This is indeed a strange yardstick you have
advanced, one that all the promoters of
mega projects will no doubt come to love.
You wish "Audhut" the "very best." I, on the other
hand, hope that he rots in hell for what he has
done to Goa. He and the rest of his fraternal
miner scum, the Salgaoncars and the Dempos.
Regards,
