It is in Karmali (Carambolim) in Sattari taluka, around 5-7 Kms from Valpoi. Locally people call it Brahma-Karmali (to distinguish it from the Karmali in Tiswadi, where the original temple was located before it was sacked). First go to Valpoi and at the main square ask for directions to Nagargaon (well, just say you want to go to the Brahma-Karmali and you will be appropriately guided). The new temple exterior is complete but the interior garbagriha is still a work in progress. I recommend you call the priest in advance and schedule your visit. The name is Sandeep Kelkar and his number is: 2374337. If there is any problem (which I do not anticipate) you may give my reference. Private transport is the easiest mode to get there. The temple is located in a kuLAgar off the main road. r ps: I had a particularly swell time in Pushkar, Rajasthan, deflating local pride by telling them that we Goans, too, had an exclusive temple for Brahma. Pushkar has a well known temple to Brahma that is mistakenly believed to be the only one in the country. pps: Temples devoted exclusively to Brahma are very rare, the result of a curse slapped on him. Perhaps less than 5 exist in all of India.
