How many dots did former President Bush connect before leaving office? As America was bleeding jobs and home foreclosures, where were all these GOP plans, ideas and suggestions to President Bush before he left office? If turning off the payroll tax for the next 2 years, as some GOP senators suggested, why that was not done during the previous administration? How many new jobs were created during Bush's two terms? America has spent the past eight years with Republican policies and they have done nothing for the country. All those rich people who were supposed to create jobs with the Bush tax cuts didn't. Why should Americans expect for them to do it now? Where was the critical analysis about tax and government spending when Bush was on vacation and Cheney and Rove were running the country into the ground and the bankers were gambling with 401Ks? President Obama to his credit is trying to reach across party lines and come up with a plan to help all Americans, but the leader of the GOP just keeps saying no. The completely out of touch Republicans are criticizing President Obama for trying to fix the mess that they created. So, the conclusion is obvious - Republicans have an incurable genetic defect in their brains that blocks their capacity to reason and admit their own mistakes. This defect is called RBC short for Rush-Bush-Cheneyism. The only thing republicans are interested in now is the next election.
The Republicans and Bush, in the last 8 years, did connect nothing at all - zero, and screwed up even what was in order.These Republicans have no base, footing or face to speak. They need to just Shut Up and watch how Obama plays the game….. Obama stands alone with his back against a wall of opposition, slander, ridicule and yes, racism, yet he presses forward with plans not for just today but forever. The Republicnas bowed down daily to every single solitary thing Bush did to ruin the country, the economy, and loosing jobs and now when someone wants to try to fix it, the Republicans try to get people to go along with their asinine programs. The best thing for the country is for ALL republicans to shut up , or maybe head for cheney's undisclosed locations for the duration of their terms. Americans are unemployed, therefore they need help with their bills. Republicans chant "tax cuts," "no earmarks," but are the ones who gave tax cuts before, expecting those few who got them to use the money to help the rest. (isn't that socialism?) Plus 40% or more of the so-called evil earmarks are Republican inserts. Americans seem to be smarter than the average Republican lawmaker, thank goodness. The stock market is making a slow recovery, and consumers are starting to spend again. That means producers here and abroad will begin producing again, which means JOBS. Republicans who wants to spread fear/hate/obstructionism then to either support/work with the President or come up with solutions other then tax cuts for the rich. The fact that "President Barack Obama has implemented policies that harm Indians, like restrictions on H1-B visas and on nurses from India and other countries". Naturally he is the president of USA and more concerned about creating jobs for Americans and after all, India and Indian Diaspora is confident of getting better paying jobs to returning Indians and therefore this criticism is out of pure spite and I do not understand why the hell American politics is posted in this forum. As most are aware, thousands of workers from UAE have returned due to the current financial cricis but India is a vast country and has the capacity of absorbing them in the local economy/job market. President Obama has inherited a messed up America and can't work miracles, but unlike Bush he does not say 'you are with us or against us'.
