Goa has irreversibly been destroyed and there are few left interested in saving 
Goa and Goans. The windbags have talked a good game all along but did nothing 
while Goa died. A once great land has been laid waste and is now ready for 
burial. A number of people are to blame: greedy builders, the mining industry, 
Goan politicians, "real-estate" agents, Goans (those who live in Goa, Goans in 
India, and those abroad have all contributed to the decay).
