Dears, I agree absolutely with Marshall, and with PM Manmohan Singh.
Manmohan Singh is indeed a dignified man - as is Atal Behari Vajpayee. Even in his rebuttal of LK, he was dignified. It is no secret that Manmohan Singh is respected all over the world except by the radical right jc 2009/4/23 Marshall Mendonza <[email protected]> wrote: Dr Manmohan Singh is dignified, gentle and courteous at all times. However there are occasions when pushed to the wall by unreasonable people, he can give back hard and mighty. This is the stuff our PM is made of. Here are some quotes of Dr Manmohan Singh: "Advani likes to call me a weak prime minister. I cannot help pointing out that when held to the fire during the Kandahar hijacking, the BJP's *Iron Man melted*." "I will certainly not say things in Pakistan that *offend every Indian and then abandon my stand* when it becomes politically inconvenient in my party." "The BJP has not allowed Parliament to function... and now Advani wants to debate with me. *I don't want to give him the privilege* that he is an alternative prime minister." "Mr Advani has the unique ability to combine *strength in speech with weakness in action*." "I am not a sloganeer. I will readily concede that my opponents make more rousing speeches. But unlike the NDA's prime ministerial candidate *I will not be found weeping in a corner* while hoodlums tear down a centuries-old mosque. Nor will I be found *wringing my hands in frustration while one of my chief ministers condones a pogrom targeted at minorities.*" http://www.outlookindia.com/fullprint.asp?choice=2&fodname=20090427&fname=ACover+Story&sid=1 Regards, Marshall
