I wouldn't trust the so-called mainstream press either. I would independently confirm the authenticity of each article that has to do with politics and ideology published anywhere. That is one of the points I have been trying to make. I have been also trying to make the point that politicians on all sides of all partisan divides are publicly slandered and accused of lying all the time. Sometimes the accusations are true, sometimes they are not. But it is important to allow people in a democracy and a free society to express their opinions freely and fearlessly against those in power, and those who are entrusted with duty and responsibility towards the public. Those who live in autocratic countries like China and Saudi Arabia, or still have a pre-1961 Salazar mindset do not understand this.
